Sunny Brazil: Inhotim

Inhotim is a beautiful park / modern art gallery located in the outskirts of Brumadinho, a town  close to Belo Horizonte. There visitors get to see beautiful gardens, lakes, typical species of plants originally from the Mata Atlântica Forest, which used to dominate the coastland of Brazil. There are around 17 art galleries spread throughout the park and each one of them with a different thing to experience. Those "arts" can be seen, felt or heard. It goes from a bunch of objects connected through a pipe, to a dark room with many mattresses spread on the floor with music on the background. Some are really cool, some make you ask yourself what art is really about.

It was a very warm day! Sven and I had lots of fun with a couple of good friends, Raissa and Leo, which are the perfect people to share this sort of "art experience"! Here are some pictures we took:

Having lunch before going to the park; Sven and Leo drinking Cachaça.
